What is Gravalax ? (also spelt Gravadlax and Gravlax)

Gravalax is a classic Scandinavian dish made from fresh salmon, cured with a mixture of sugar, salt and dill, amongst other ingredients. Unlike a lot of mainstream products, ours is not smoked in any way. That is not proper Gravalax ! We also only use sushi grade fish that is IkeJime  certified. Our Gravalax is a great (healthier) alternative to smoked salmon, perfect as a starter or a healthy snack, makes a great sandwich and all complemented by our own signature dill sauce. The possibilities are fairly endless, as our soon to be published recipe book will demonstrate..
